‘I AM AWARE CAMPAIGN’:  AGREEMENT FORM FOR VOLUNTEERS

It is important that you read and understand the terms and conditions for volunteering for the ‘I AM AWARE Campaign.’ Please make sure that you have, READ, UNDERSTOOD and AGREE to the terms and conditions of volunteering with ‘I AM AWARE Campaign’ before submitting your registration form. 

Please read the following carefully.

  1. I am 18 years old and over.
  2. The ‘I AM AWARE’ brand, logo and paraphernalia, will be used for project activities ONLY.
  3. I understand that being accepted as a volunteer for the ‘I AM AWARE CAMPAIGN’ DOES NOT constitute employment.
  4. I understand that there is NO MONETARY REWARD for me as a volunteer. However, there may be occasional tokens to show appreciation for my time, work and troubles.
  5. I understand that the ‘I AM AWARE Campaign’ is not responsible for the loss of my property, personal injury, illness, accident sustained , or expense incurred whilst volunteering for the ‘I AM AWARE Campaign.’
  6. I understand that the ‘I AM AWARE Campaign’ and its agents will not be responsible for any financial obligations or liabilities the I may incur, including damages to property, or injury to others while participating in this project.
  7. I understand that transportation costs are my responsibility when carrying out volunteering duties for the project. If possible, I will carry out activities, which are within walking distance to where I reside, or work etc.
  8. I agree to follow and abide by all laws of the country, policies of the project and its agencies and communities within which I volunteer. Failure to do so will result in the termination of my participation with immediate effect.
  9. I will send any cancellations and withdrawal from volunteering for the ‘I AM AWARE Campaign’ in writing.
  10. I understand that any violation/acts contrary to the nature of the volunteer status will not be condoned and may lead to the immediate termination of my volunteer status.

  8. Volunteers must agree to abide by all laws of the country, policies of the project and its agencies and communities within which they volunteer. Failure to do so will result in the termination of participation with immediate effect.
  9. Cancellations and withdrawal from volunteering for the ‘I AM AWARE Campaign’ must be received in writing. Similarly, ‘I AM AWARE’ will communicate any volunteer termination from the campaign using the most appropriate means.
  10. Any violation/acts contrary to the nature of the volunteer status will not be condoned and may lead to the immediate termination of your volunteer status.

Edem Selormey is the Project Manager for I AM AWARE (IAA).  Her research interests are in good governance, social accountability and public service delivery performance, media and civil society.  Edem oversees and coordinates the implementation of the IAA project.

Franklin Oduro is IAA team member. His research interests are in public policy/public administration, civil society and election integrity, and good governance. Franklin assists with project coordination and management of the IAA project.

Emmanuel Kojo Asante is IAA team member. His research interests arein accountability, good governance and natural resource governance.  Kojo assists with management and implementation of the IAA project.

Mohammed Awal is the team leader for IAA. Awal’s research interests includegood governance, social accountability and natural resource governance.He is responsible for the implementation of the IAA project, stakeholder and partner collaborations, and dissemination activities.

Newton Yaw Norviewu is the IAA Data Manager and M&E Officer for the IAA project. He also assists the IT Unit in keeping the IAA website up-to-date. His interest is in Result Based Project Management (RBM), Election integrity, Decentralization and Social Accountability and Big Data Analysis.

Mavis Z. Dome is a team member for IAA. Mavis has interests in public policy and local government administration. She is responsible for data collection, analysis and dissemination on the Water and Sanitation sectors for IAA.

Rexford K. Asiama is a team member for IAA. Rexford is responsible for data collection, analysis and dissemination for the Education and Agriculture sectors for IAA. Rexford is interested in economic development for local governance systems in Ghana.

Adu Kakra Duayeden is a team member and supports with data collection, simplification, GIS mapping and data analysis for IAA website. He also manages the IAA Data Center and information bureau.

Maame Efua Osam is a team member and she manages IAA’s Social Media Campaigns. She is also responsible for media communication and strategy for IAA.

Mawusi Dumenu is responsible with managing IAA's volunteers and coordining their activities.

Courage Asare oversees Information Communication Technology (ICT) for IAA.

Albert Adjei is a team member and he assists with I.T.
